As a young girl, her mother always told her that blue was her color. But she refused. She would wear yellows and greens and pinks and purples, sticking her nose up at anything in a shade of blue. And then one day she grew up. She was going to be a bridesmaid in a girlfriend’s wedding and the bride chose dresses that were, eek, blue. And the makeup artist started doing her makeup and told her she was going to use a blue eye shadow because she had the perfect skin tone for blue. Once she was all dressed with her makeup complete, she looked in the mirror… and GASP. Her mother had been right all along.
