Paper Print - Charlie in A China Shop
Paper Print - Charlie in A China Shop
The last time Charlie tagged along to the China shop… it was a very expensive trip. And it’s not what you think! Bull in a China shop situation? No, not at all. Charlie has extremely expensive taste and insisted on getting multiple pieces. Charlie said that they were an ‘investment’. He reminded me that in March 2021, an antique Chinese dish originally bought for a measly $35 resold at a whopping $721,800 in a Sotheby’s auction. Charlie had a ‘good feeling’ about multiple pieces that day and I was coerced into buying all 29 of them.

About:
Mary-Catheryn earched and searched for something, ANYTHING, to fill her walls but nothing caught her eye nor her heart. Eventually she took matters into her own hands and went to the store to buy some paints and a canvas. This is how her original cow was born. She created what I had been searching for.
Mary-Catheryn’s art is greatly inspired by her upbringing in South America, where she was raised with a deep connection to nature, especially the animals. Each painting is vibrant, colorful, textured, and intricately layered, which is clearly visible in her prints. She strives to portray a balance of realism combined with loose abstraction, causing one to compliment the other. Her goal is for people to feel a connection with her paintings in a meaningful and unique way, smiling every time you look at them.
Mary-Catheryn resides mostly in Grand Rapids + Northern Michigan and occasionally Paraguay, South America.
